Wood Group GTS has been awarded a contract estimated to be worth up to $3.5m by Dow Chemical Company, USA to provide Advanced Parts Manufacture (APM®) hot gas path components for their ABB GT11D5 gas turbine located at Plaquemine Chemical Plant, Southern Louisiana.

Under the contract Wood Group GTS will provide APM® capital spare parts including rotor and stator components for the gas turbine. Installed in 1975, the turbine is an essential source of steam and power for the petrochemical plant operation. Wood Group GTS will provide specialist support from an experienced engineering team to ensure in-service reliability and the availability of critical spare parts.
