UK’s Cavendish Nuclear has joined the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (Nuclear AMRC).
Owned by the University of Sheffield, Nuclear AMRC is a collaboration of academic and industrial partners from across the nuclear supply chain and was formed with an objective to help UK manufacturers win work at home and worldwide.

As a new member of Nuclear AMRC, Cavendish Nuclear intends to offer its experience in the delivery of safer, faster and lower cost nuclear to Nuclear AMRC and help in the development of the sector in the UK.
Nuclear AMRC chief executive officer Andrew Storer said: “Cavendish Nuclear bring a wealth of nuclear industry experience and expertise to the Nuclear AMRC, as we begin the next step of our strategic development.
“We look forward to helping them develop new technological solutions to the challenges of the UK’s new build, operations and decommissioning programme, and to working with them to ensure the long-term success of their supply chain.”
As one of UK’s leading supplier of services to the civil nuclear sector, Cavendish Nuclear will support an executive Jay Bhart to help the Nuclear AMRC develop its capabilities.
