Description

The project was developed by Hyundai Engineering & Construction, Posco International and Uzsuvenergo. The project is currently owned by Uzsuvenergo.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 500 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 170m. Tupolangsk underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2023. The project generated 467 GWh of electricity.

Tupolangsk (Tupolangsk Phase I) is equipped with Power Machines turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines, each with 15MW nameplate capacity.

Tupolangsk (Tupolangsk Phase II) is equipped with Power Machines turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines, each with 72.5MW nameplate capacity.

Power Machines was selected as the generator supplier for the hydro power project. The project consists of 4 generators.
