State Development and Investment and Sichuan Provincial Investment Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 52% and 48% respectively.
Kela Phase I Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 16 km².
The project generates 2,000,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 1,000,000 households, offsetting 1,600,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Powerchina Chengdu Engineering was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
