Description

The project was developed by Move On Energy. HANSAINVEST Real Assets and Move On Energy are currently owning the project.

Witznitz Energy Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 500 hectares.

The project generates 600GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 200,000 households, offsetting 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2022 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2024.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Shell Energy Europe under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years from 2024. The contracted capacity is 600MW.

Contractors involved

Move On Energy was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 1,130,000 modules each with 565W of nameplate capacity.

Delta Electronics supplied 3,520 of its M125HV inverters to the project site.

The mounting systems have been supplied by ERL Solar Montaj Sistemleri for the project.
