Description
The project was developed by Parque Eolico Tucano, SoWiTec do Brasil Energias Alternativas and Tucano F4 Geracao de Energias. The AES, Others, Centrais Eletricas Brasileiras and BNDES Participacoes are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 47.63%, 38.87%, 6.77% and 6.73% respectively.
The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 115m high.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Anglo American under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years, starting from 2022.
