Description
The project was developed by First Solar. Diamond Generating Europe, Nebras Power QPSC and Kawar Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 35%, 35% and 30% respectively.
Shams Maan Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 2,000,000 square meters.
The project generates 160GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 90,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
