The project was developed by Nur Navoi Solar Foreign Enterprise and is currently owned by Abu Dhabi Future Energy.
Navoiy Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 267 hectares.
The project generates 270,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 31,000 households, offsetting 150,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
The project got commissioned in August 2021.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.027kWh for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 100MW.
Contractors involved
SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
JA Solar Holdings was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 298,928 modules at the site.
Huawei Technologies supplied its 659 x SUN2000-185KTL-H1 inverters to the project site.
The mounting systems have been supplied by Nclave Manufacturing SLU for the project.
Nur Navoi Solar Foreign Enterprise is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2021.
