Description
The project was developed by OPDE Holding. Riverstone Holdings and OPDE Holding are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.
Andalucia II Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 238 hectares.
The project generates 213,655MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 60,000 households, offsetting 80,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
The project got commissioned in January 2020.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years. The contracted capacity is 83MW.
Contractors involved
Eiffage Energia S L U and OPDE Holding were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
JinkoSolar Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 308,700 modules each with 370W of nameplate capacity.
Power Electronics supplied its FS2600CH15 inverters to the project site.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Axial structural solutions.
Eiffage Energia S L U and OPDE Holding were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
