Description

The project was developed by Gharo Solar. Harappa Solar, Norsk Solar and WindForce are currently owning the project.

Gharo Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 98 hectares.

The project generates 78,840MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 207,000 households.

Development status

The project got commissioned in December 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to K-Electric under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.05kWh for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 50MW.

Contractors involved

The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by JA Solar and Risen Energy.

Sungrow Power Supply supplied 20 inverters to the project site.
