Description

The project is being developed by Rividhanavi. Lakdhanavi, The Blue Circle and WindForce are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 33.34%, 33.33% and 33.33% respectively.

Siyambalanduwa Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 220 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 148,000MWh electricity to offset 147,542t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Ceylon Electricity Board under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Lakdhanavi is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Lakdhanavi is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the solar PV power project.
