Description

The project was developed by Rising Sun Energy. Yinson Holdings and Bhadla Solar Investments are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 95% and 5% respectively.

Bhadla Phase II - NTPC NSM Phase II Solar PV Park - 4 is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 348 acres.

Development status

The project got commissioned in August 2017.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.064kWh for a period of 25 years, starting from 2017. The contracted capacity is 70MW.

Contractors involved

Rays Power Experts was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of PV modules for the project.

ABB supplied 70 of its PVS800-57-1000 kW inverters to the project site.
