Description

The project was developed by Japan Renewable Energy. The project is co-owned by Japan Renewable Energy and Sumitomo Mitsui Finance and Leasing, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

JRE Yamato Takamori Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project generates 99,400MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 22,600 households, offsetting 43,530t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2020 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in June 2022.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Kyushu Electric Power under a power purchase agreement from 2022. The contracted capacity is 79.95MW.
