The project is being developed by Central Puerto, CP Renovables and CPR Energy Solutions SAU. Central Puerto and CP Renovables are currently owning the project.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm (La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm 1A) will be sold to Cammesa under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.061kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2018. The capacity to be procured is 100.8MW.

Contractors involved

La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm (La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm 1A) will be equipped with Nordex AW-125/3000 turbines. The phase consists of 32 turbines with 3.15MW nameplate capacity.

La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm (La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm 1B) will be equipped with Nordex AW-125/3000 turbines. The phase consists of 15 turbines.

La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm (La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm-II) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V126-3.45MW turbines. The phase consists of 4 turbines with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm (La Castellana-Central Puerto Wind Farm-II). The operation and maintenance contract tenure will likely be commencing from 2019, for a period of 5 years.
