Description
The project is being developed by Enercon, Markbygden Vind and Svevind. CGN Europe Energy, Enercon, Greencoat Renewables and Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget are currently owning the project.
The project is expected to generate 3,000,000MWh of electricity.

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2013.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Markbygden ETT- Phase A) will be sold to Norsk Hydro Olje under a power purchase agreement for a period of 19 years, starting from 2018.
The power generated from the Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Markbygden ETT- Phase B) will be sold to Norsk Hydro Olje under a power purchase agreement for a period of 19 years, starting from 2019.
The power generated from the Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Markbygden ETT- Phase C) will be sold to Norsk Hydro Olje under a power purchase agreement for a period of 19 years, starting from 2020.
Contractors involved
Enercon is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Skogberget).
Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Erstrask-I A) will be equipped with Enercon E-103 EP2/ 2,350 kW turbines. The phase consists of 13 turbines with 2.35MW nameplate capacity.
Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Erstrask-I B) will be equipped with Enercon E-103 EP2/ 2,350 kW turbines. The phase consists of 13 turbines with 2.35MW nameplate capacity.
Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Erstrask-IIA) will be equipped with Enercon E-138 EP3 E2 / 4.2 MW turbines. The phase consists of 32 turbines with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.
Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Erstrask-IIB) will be equipped with Enercon E-126 EP3 turbines. The phase consists of 10 turbines with 4MW nameplate capacity.
Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Markbygden ETT- Phase A) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy GE 3.6-137 turbines. The phase consists of 35 turbines with 3.63MW nameplate capacity.
Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Markbygden ETT- Phase B) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy GE 3.6-137 turbines. The phase consists of 108 turbines with 3.63MW nameplate capacity.
Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Markbygden ETT- Phase C) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy GE 3.6-137 turbines. The phase consists of 36 turbines with 3.63MW nameplate capacity.
Markbygden Wind Farm - Phase I (Markbygden Wind Farm - Skogberget) will be equipped with Enercon E-92 / 2,350 kW turbines. The phase consists of 36 turbines with 2.35MW nameplate capacity.
Enercon and GE Power are expected to be contracted for rendering of operations & maintenance services for the project.
