Description

The project is being developed by Clydesdale Ridge Wind and RMS Energy Dalhousie Mountain. Clydesdale Ridge Wind, Firelight Infrastructure Partners and RMS Energy Dalhousie Mountain are currently owning the project.

Dalhousie Mountain (Dalhousie Mountain Phase 2) consists of 19 turbines.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2009.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Nova Scotia Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Contractors involved

Emera is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Dalhousie Mountain (Dalhousie Mountain Phase 1) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy 1.5-82.5 turbines. The phase consists of 34 turbines with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project. The O&M tenure will likely be commencing from the year 2009.
