The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 36,000 households, to offset 44,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The Tubular Steel structure to be installed at the project site are expected to be 134m high.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2023. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by December 2024.
Contractors involved
Nordex will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 13 units of N117/3600 turbines, each with 3.2MW nameplate capacity.
