Description
The project is being developed by JERA Power (Thailand) and Pt Cirebon Electric Power. Marubeni, PT Indika Energy, ST International, JERA and Korea Midland Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 35%, 25%, 20%, 10% and 10% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in July 2012.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the Cirebon Power Plant (Cirebon Power Plant Phase I) will be sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years.
The power generated from the Cirebon Power Plant (Cirebon Power Plant Phase II) will be sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Mitsubishi Power is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Cirebon Power Plant (Cirebon Power Plant Phase II) project. Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Cirebon Power Plant (Cirebon Power Plant Phase II) project.
The Coal fired project will be supplied by Doosan Enerbility and Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions.
