Description

The project is being developed by PT Huadian Bukit Asam Power. China Huadian Hong Kong and PT Bukit Asam (Persero) are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 55% and 45% respectively.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The fuel will be procured from Banko Tengah coal mine.

The project will generate 9,250,000MWh of electricity.

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in October 2023.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.
