Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by MAPNA Assaluyeh Power Generation. The company has a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Gas Oil. The fuel will be procured from TANANIR.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in January 2008.

The power generated from the project will be sold to Tavanir under a power purchase agreement.
