Description
The project is being developed by PT Shenhua Guohua Lion Power Indonesia. China Shenhua Energy and PT Lion Power Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The fuel will be procured from PT. Lion Power Energy.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2016. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by December 2024.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years.

Shandong Electric Power Engineering Consulting Institute is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the coal fired power project.
