Description

The project was developed by Kaita Biomass Power. The project is co-owned by Hiroshima Gas and The Chugoku Electric Power, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this co-firing project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood pellets which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
