Description

The project is being developed by Guodian Dadu River Hydropower Development. GD Power Development, CHN ENERGY Investment Group and Sichuan Chuantou Energy Stock are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 69%, 21% and 10% respectively.

The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 488 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project will be 93m. The project is expected to generate 3,485 GWh of electricity.

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.

Contractors involved

Dongfang Electric will be the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company is expected to provide 4 units of francis turbines, each with 215MW nameplate capacity.
