Description
The project is being developed by Engie, PT Supreme Energy and Sumitomo. Engie, Sumitomo, PT Supreme Energy and Inpex are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 35%, 35%, 20% and 10% respectively.
Liki Pinangawan Muaralaboh Geothermal Power Plant will run at a temperature of 240 Degree Celsius.
The project is expected to generate 1,730GWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 340,000 households. The project is expected to offset 993,428t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2019.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the Liki Pinangawan Muaralaboh Geothermal Power Plant (Muaralaboh Geothermal Power Plant Phase I) will be sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.094kWh for a period of 30 years.

PT Rekayasa Industri and Sumitomo are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Liki Pinangawan Muaralaboh Geothermal Power Plant (Muaralaboh Geothermal Power Plant Phase I).
Liki Pinangawan Muaralaboh Geothermal Power Plant (Muaralaboh Geothermal Power Plant Phase I) will be equipped with Fuji Electric turbines.
