Description

The project is being developed by Fortum and PT Jakarta Solusi Lestari. PT Jakarta Propertindo and Fortum are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project is expected to generate 280GWh of electricity.

The process of combustion will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Refuse which is a kind of municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2025. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement.
