The project is being developed and currently owned by UkrHydroEnergo.

Dnister PSPP is a pumped storage project. The gross head and net head of the project will be 161.9m and 147.5m respectively. The project is expected to generate 2,720 GWh of electricity.

Dnister PSPP (Dnister PSPP Unit 6,7) will be equipped with GE Vernova francis turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines with 324MW nameplate capacity.

Electrotyazhmash will supply electric generator(s) for the Dnister PSPP (Dnister PSPP Unit (1-3)).
