France-based company Schneider Electric’s IT hiring declined 28.9% in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 22.07% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 16.14% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.91% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Schneider Electric IT hiring in November 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Schneider Electric, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 53.19% in November 2022, and a 46.81% drop over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 19.15% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 50%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 12.77% in November 2022, a 40% drop from October 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Schneider Electric

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global power IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 59.57% share, which marked a 50% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 23.4%, registering a 54.17% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 14.89% share and a 63.16% drop over October 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.13% and a month-on-month flat growth.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 57.45% share in November 2022, a 49.06% decline over October 2022. US featured next with a 23.4% share, down 52.17% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 6.38% share, a decline of 72.73% compared with October 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Schneider Electric IT hiring activity in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.83%, down by 43.4% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 23.4% share, a decline of 62.07% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 10.64% share, flat growth over October 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.13%, recording a month-on-month decline of 92.31%.
