The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 4.52% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.35% share in October 2022, recording an increase of 0.24% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.35% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry in October 2022.

Top five power companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 4.38% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Siemens posted 49 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 36.36% over the previous month, followed by Nordex with 41 jobs and a 5.13% growth. E.ON with 38 IT jobs and RWE with 14 jobs, recorded a 153.33% growth and a 6.67% decrease, respectively, while EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg recorded a decline of 21.43% with 11 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.08%, down by 20.36% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.74% share, registered a decline of 21.88% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.64% share, up 21.05% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.55%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
