The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.63% in September 2022 when compared with August 2022.
Out of the power industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 7.35% share in September 2022, recording an increase of 0.35% over the last three-month average share.

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 99.05% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry in September 2022.

Top five power companies in Germany’s IT recruitment activity in September 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 8.7% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Germany’s power industry during September 2022 over August 2022.
Siemens posted 67 IT jobs in September 2022 and registered a rise of 26.42% over the previous month, followed by Nordex with 39 jobs and a 2.63% growth. E.ON with 15 IT jobs and RWE with 15 jobs, recorded a 48.28% decline and a 66.67% growth, respectively, while EnBW Energie Baden-Wurttemberg recorded an increase of 55.56% with 14 job postings during September 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in September 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 76.67%, up by 10.27% from August 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.81% share, registered a decline of 17.14% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 9.05% share, up 11.76% over August 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.48%, recording a month-on-month decline of 66.67%.
