The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 43.75% in April 2022 when compared with March 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 17.69% share in the company’s total hiring activity in April 2022, and recorded an 8.67% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Water IT hiring in April 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Water, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 69.44% in April 2022, and a 55.36% drop over March 2022, while Computer Support Specialists claimed a share of 16.67% in April 2022, and registered growth of 100%. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 5.56% in April 2022, a 60% drop from March 2022.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 30.56%, registering a 10% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 27.78% share and a 56.52% drop over March 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s power industry IT hiring activity with a 38.89% share in April 2022, a 63.16% decline over March 2022. India featured next with a 19.44% share, up 75% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 19.44% share, a decline of 50% compared with March 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Water IT hiring activity in April 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 63.89%, down by 57.41% from March 2022. Entry Level positions with a 22.22% share, a growth of 166.67% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 13.89% share, down 61.54% over March 2022.
