The schemes will be spread across the states of Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Telangana and Rajasthan, in the country.

The small-scale project is equipped with 48,000 solar photovoltaic modules, each having a capacity to generate 240W of renewable energy.

Power output from the project will be sold to Tamil Nadu generation and distribution corporation (Tangedco).
