Description

The project was developed by Low Carbon and Solarcentury Holdings. The project is co-owned by BP and Lightsource BP Renewable Energy Investments, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Chediston Hall Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 70 acres.

The project generates 11,900MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 3,839 households, offsetting 5,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 50,400 modules.

The project got commissioned in May 2013.

Contractors involved

Solarcentury Holdings was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Lightsource BP Renewable Energy Investments is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
