Siemens has secured a long-term contract to continue to provide services at the Nubaria, Talkha and El Kureimat power stations in Egypt.
The ten-year extension deal was signed under the supervision of Egyptian Electricity Holding (EEHC), represented by Middle Delta Electricity Production Company and Upper Egypt Electricity Production Company.

By GlobalDataUnder the deal, the firm will provide service and maintenance, as well as component upgrades at three power stations.
The deal allows the company to continue to offer service and maintenance for eight SGT5-4000F gas turbines and the associated generators.
The contract also includes several modernisation and upgrade measures for the eight gas turbines at three power stations.
In addition, the firm will upgrade the gas turbine controls to its SPPA-T3000 control system, which will support the daily operation of the facility.
