Description

The project was developed by EDP Renovaveis Brasil. EDP Renovaveis and China Three Gorges Brasil Energia are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

Development status

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Agro Energy under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.109kWh for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Enercon was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 14 units of E-92 / 2,350 kW turbines, each with 2.35MW nameplate capacity.

The wind power project consists of Concrete towers supplied by Wobben Windpower Industria e Comercio. These towers are around 97m high.
