Wind turbine supplier Suzlon has secured orders from a group of customers to work on wind projects totalling 81.90MW in India.
The orders are from small and medium enterprises (SMEs) from food, textiles, chemical, real estate and engineering industries.
These contracts require Suzlon to provide design, supply, installation, commissioning and dedicated lifecycle asset management services for the projects.
Suzlon chief sales officer Ishwar Mangal said: "The order wins from our new and existing customers affirms our role as the preferred partner for end-to-end renewable energy solutions across industry sectors and across the country."
Suzlon will install multi-megawatt S111 90m, S97 120m, S97 90m, and S95 90m turbines with a rated capacity of 2.1MW each.
The S9X turbine models are designed to optimally harness available wind resources and deliver higher energy and return on investment to customers.

By GlobalDataThe S97 2.1MW wind turbine generator features the time-tested doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) technology, which is designed to maximise generation and unlock low wind sites.
Expected to be completed by FY17, the wind farms are located across the states of Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
The firm said more than 75% of the consolidated orders are its newly launched products, S97 120m hybrid tower and the S111 90m.
Mangal added: "Our technological expertise and continuously upgraded product portfolio have allowed us to offer customised solutions that are suitable to varying wind regimes.
"We will continue to develop high yield products that effectively bring down the cost of energy."
Earlier this year, Suzlon won a contract to supply 71.40MW of wind turbines from Gujarat Industries Power Company. The turbines will be installed at a wind farm in Kutch district, in the state of Gujarat.
The wind power facility will be developed in three phases and it is expected to be completed by April 2017.
Suzlon aims to achieve the Indian government’s target of 175GW by 2022. To date, the company has more than 9GW of installations across India.
