The project is developed and owned by Magnon Green Energy.
The project generates 160GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 45,000 households.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.
The project consists of 1 steam turbine.

Contractors involved
SENER Grupo de Ingenieria was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the biopower project.
Termisa Energia supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 73.5TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 485°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 102bar.
Ingeteam Corporacion and SENER Grupo de Ingenieria were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
