Description
The project was developed by Betuwe Wind, Prodeon, Pure Energie, Winvast and Yard Energy Group. Betuwe Wind, Eurus Energy Europe, Pure Energie and Yard Energy Group are currently owning the project.
The project generates 150,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 45,000 households, offsetting 82,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project has 140m high towers.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Eneco Holding under a power purchase agreement for a period of 16 years from 2020. The contracted capacity is 46.2MW.
Contractors involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 11 units of V136-4.2 MW turbines, each with 4.2MW nameplate capacity.
