Description
The project was developed by Amec Foster Wheeler and is currently owned by SembCorp Utilities (UK).
The project generates 217GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors involved
Siemens was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company supplied SST 400 model turbines for the project.
Sumitomo SHI FW Energia supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 482°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 92bar.
