Description
The project is developed by Black Hills Energy, City of Gillette, Montana-Dakota Utilities and Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is sub-bituminous. In case of shortage of sub-bituminous the plant can also run on Natural Gas.
