Description

The project was developed by Star Energy Power. Taiwan Cogeneration, Others and JERA are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40.5%, 40% and 19.5% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2001 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in March 2004.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Taiwan Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 490MW.
