Upper Modi is a run-of-river project.

The nameplate capacity of electric generator(s) to be installed at the Upper Modi (Phase-2-Upper Modi) site is 10.59 MVA.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the Upper Modi (Phase-1-Upper Modi A) will be sold to Nepal Electricity Authority under a power purchase agreement.
