Turu is a run-of-river project. The net head of the project will be 176.32m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 2 in number. The penstock length will be 20m. The penstock diameter will be 2.1m.
The project will have 2 electric generators installed at the project site. The generator capacity is likely to be 36.67 MVA.
Development status
