Cachi is a 160.8MW hydro power project. It is located on Reventazon river/basin in Cartago, Costa Rica. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1966.

Cachi is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 54 million cubic meter. Cachi underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2010-2015. The project generated 1,000,000 MWh of electricity.

Cachi (Cachi I) is equipped with Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions francis turbines. The phase consists of 2 turbines with 32MW nameplate capacity.

Cachi (Cachi II) is equipped with Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions francis turbine. The phase consists of 1 turbine with 36.8MW nameplate capacity.

Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions supplied 2 electric generators for the Cachi (Cachi I). The generator capacity is 40 MVA.

Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions supplied 1 electric generator for the Cachi (Cachi II). The generator capacity is 46 MVA.
