Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Imperial Irrigation District under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years from 2012. The contracted capacity is 45MW.
Contractors Involved
ABB was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 1 unit of Axial Flow Condensing Turbine turbine with 47MW nameplate capacity.
ABB Combustion Engineering supplied steam boiler for the project. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 925Degree Fahrenheit. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 1,255psig.
