Description
Central Puerto, Enel Generacion El Chocon, Enel Generacion Costanera and Central Dock Sud are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 30.88%, 18.85%, 5.33% and 1.42% respectively.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel. The fuel is procured from Transportadora de Gas del Norte S.A..
Development Status
The project got commissioned in June 2008.
