Green River (Blue Castle) 2 is a Generation III+ nuclear reactor being developed by Westinghouse Electric, the main contractor for the project.
The 1,250MW reactor is currently owned and will be operated by Blue Castle Holdings.
Green River (Blue Castle) 2 is a type of PWR reactor. It will feature 157 fuel assemblies in the core of reactor, the place where fission occurs and energy is released. The project cost is expected to be around $6,736.25m.
