Description
The project was developed by Dufferin Wind Power. Farm Owned Power (Melancthon) and Longyuan Canada Renewables are currently owning the project.
The project generates 300,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 22,500 households.
The Dufferin Wind Farm (Dufferin Wind Farm I), has 80m high towers.
The Dufferin Wind Farm (Dufferin Wind Farm II), has 85m high towers.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Independent Electricity System Operator under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2014. The contracted capacity is 91.38MW.
Contractors Involved
Dufferin Wind Farm (Dufferin Wind Farm I) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 1.6-100 turbines. The phase consists of 31 turbines with 1.6MW nameplate capacity.
Dufferin Wind Farm (Dufferin Wind Farm II) is equipped with GE Renewable Energy 2.75-103 turbines. The phase consists of 18 turbines with 2.75MW nameplate capacity.
