Description

The project is currently owned by MAPNA Group.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Gas Oil.

The project cost is $40m.

Sanandaj Combined Cycle Power Plant (Sanandaj Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I Unit II) is equipped with MAPNA Turbine Engineering & Manufacturing MGT-70 gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 159MW nameplate capacity.

Sanandaj Combined Cycle Power Plant (Sanandaj Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I Unit III) is equipped with Siemens E30-16-1×6.3 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 160MW nameplate capacity.
