Khanom Combined Cycle Power (Unit 4) is a 977MW dual-fuel fired power project. It is located in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand. The project is currently active. It has been developed in multiple phases. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in June 2016.

Description
The project is developed and owned by Khanom Electricity Generating.
It is a CCGT with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel. The fuel is procured from PTT Natural Gas Distribution Company Limited (PTT NGD).
Development Status
The project got commissioned in June 2016.

About Khanom Electricity Generating
Khanom Electricity Generating Company Limited (KEGCO) is a Thailand based company, engaged in the power generation. The company generates power through Khanom Power Plant which is located at Nakorn Sri Thammarat province in southern Thailand. The power plant consists of two barge-mounted thermal plants and a combined cycle gas (CCG) turbine. KEGCO has a total power generation capacity of 824 MW, which consists of 150 MW from thermal plants and 674 MW from CCG turbine. The company sells its power under a power purchase agreement to Electricity Generating PLC (EGAT). KEGCO operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Electricity Generating Public Company Limited KEGCO is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
