The project is being developed and currently owned by GP Joule and Mainova. The company’s ownership stake in the project stands as 25% respectively.

Mainova Boitzenburger Land Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 160 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 180,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 64,000 households. The project is expected to offset 85,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $147m.
